Exel Wins National Recognition for Sustainability Efforts and Waste Reduction
(June 10, 2013) – Exel, the North American leader in supply chain management and part of the SUPPLY CHAIN division of the global logistics leader Deutsche Post DHL, has received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) 2012 WasteWise Small Business Partner of the Year award for the sustainability program at its Lockport, N. Y., distribution center. This is the fourth U.S. EPA award the Exel Lockport facility has won since 2007.

Power Packaging Receives Employer of Choice Gold Award 
(April 29, 2013) – A breakthrough approach to continuous improvement that adds value to customers and boosts associate retention positioned Power Packaging, an Exel company, to be awarded the global Employer of Choice gold award from Deutsche Post DHL, the world’s fourth largest employer and Power Packaging’s parent company. Exel Earns LEED Certification for Logistics Without Borders Distribution Center in Laredo, Texas 
(March 20, 2013) – Exel, part of the supply chain division of the global logistics leader DHL, announced today that its 250,000-square-foot Logistics Without Borders distribution center in Laredo, Texas, has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The facility is the first distribution center in Exel’s North American real estate network and in the city of Laredo to receive LEED certification.

New General Director for DHL Supply Chain Argentina 
(July 27, 2011) – DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in logistics and sister company to Exel, today announced the appointment of Agustín Croche to general director of DHL Supply Chain Argentina. Exel Wins National Paper Reduction Award 
(Nov. 10, 2010) – Exel received the U.S. EPA’s 2010 WasteWise award for paper reduction based on the efforts of one of its sites. Exel’s distribution center in Parkersburg, W.Va., reduced paper use by 23 percent and prevented approximately 152 tons of trash from ending up in a landfill.
Exel and Energizer Extend Relationship to Streamline Reverse Logistics

Exel Announces New Distribution Center to Support U.S./Mexico Cross-Border Supply Chains in Laredo, Texas
